Nicky Agate replied to the topic How to post blogposts? Discussion or Doc? in the discussion
Feedback and Feature Requests on Humanities Commons 8 years, 9 months agoHi Andreas,
Thanks for the message! Creating a seamless way to provide feedback on items in CORE is most definitely on our roadmap, but we have some UX work to do before we get there. In the interim, I have a couple of suggestions:
1. Sharing something you upload with a group generates an activity record in that group’s /activity tab. You could…[Read more]

Andreas Wagner started the topic How to post blogposts? Discussion or Doc? in the discussion
Feedback and Feature Requests on Humanities Commons 8 years, 9 months agoHi all,
today I wanted to invite comments about a blog post of mine, but ended up being unsure of where to put this. At first I thought the post was a Doc (it’s a rather long and systematic blogpost) and tried to submit it to CORE, sharing it with the relevant Groups, but it appears CORE cannot ingest deposits referred to by URI only (no file, no…[Read more]

Feedback and Feature Requests on Humanities Commons 8 years, 11 months agoHi @titusstahl and @paoloaranha, your wish is our command! Now more spacing between CORE deposits in profile—and they’re divided by category. Thanks for the feedback!

Titus Stahl replied to the topic Sort publication list in profile according to categories in the discussion
Feedback and Feature Requests on Humanities Commons 8 years, 11 months agoThat’s also a good suggestion. In any case, this is what keeps me at this moment from uploading more documents to my profile. I have a lot of syllabi that I’d like to share, but if they’re mixed in between publications, I am afraid that this will just confuse visitors to my profile.

Andreas Wagner started the topic CORE: make publisher DOI a hyperlink in the discussion
Feedback and Feature Requests on Humanities Commons 8 years, 11 months agoHi team,
first of all a thousand thanks for the platform and the opportunities you provide for scholars!
I would like to suggest making the “Publisher DOI” field in the CORE Deposit/Item View a hyperlink. Often what I can upload to CORE is just a post-print whereas at the publisher’s site, the final published version (with different layout,…[Read more]

Feedback and Feature Requests on Humanities Commons 8 years, 11 months agoOh, and fonts look all different too! OK, I’m on Safari 10.0.2 and Mac OS 10.12.2, so that might be it. I’m going to get a developer to look into this right away. Thanks, @anatudugarit!

Feedback and Feature Requests on Humanities Commons 8 years, 11 months agoHi,
Yes, I am logged. I have check with Emilie and it seems there is a problem with Safari (10.0.3) on Mac OS (10.12.3).I don’t have the right column after names.
Best,

Feedback and Feature Requests on Humanities Commons 8 years, 11 months agoHi, @anatudugarit,
Are you logged in to Humanities Commons on Safari? I’m on a Mac too, and I just logged in on Safari and get this. As you can see, I followed you, so I now have an “unfollow” option, but I can follow others.
As you can see from Émilie’s profile (viewed on a Mac in Safari), there’s also a “follow” link right under her profile picture.

Feedback and Feature Requests on Humanities Commons 8 years, 11 months agoHi,
=== MAC OS, Safari browser ===
Especially for “memberships” on the profile page, I have tried several times to add <br>, but when I update the page, it doesn’t work.
Another remark from my experience: it will be useful to add a comment such as (in correct English 🙂 ) “no style allowed”. I like very much to use my personal style when I see…[Read more]

Feedback and Feature Requests on Humanities Commons 8 years, 11 months agoHi,
Working with Mac OS and using Safari: impossible to add/follow a member from hcommons. I think it will be useful to add an icon “+” or “ADD” on the member’s profile page and/or just next to the member’s name on the page list of members.
