About
I’m a writer, editor, and digital humanist; I’m currently co-editor of The Audacity, a newsletter by Roxane Gay, and founder of Submerged: An Archive of Caregivers Underwater.
In addition to editing the work of established and emerging writers and working to create a digital archive of caregiver stories, I’m also a practicing creative writer. My work has appeared, among other places, in Electric Literature, SmokeLong Quarterly, Hobart, Paper Darts, Brevity, Passages North, and Gay Magazine and has been featured in Longreads. I’ve been nominated for Pushcart Prizes, for Best Small Fictions, for Best of the Net, has a story featured on the 2019 Wigleaf Top 50, and has an essay honored as notable in the 2019 edition of The Best American Essays.
I’ve also received fellowships from Pen Parentis and the Martha’s Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing and completed a residency with the Ragdale Foundation. I’m also working on my first book, and I’m represented by Alyssa Jennette with Stonesong.
