About
I am a researcher and teacher of ancient Christianity from the first through sixth centuries. I specialize in ritual and practice, the cult of martyrs, homiletics, rhetorical theory, and epistemology in late antique Christianity (Greek, Syriac, Latin, and Coptic). My dissertation focuses on martyr piety across the Mediterranean and Near East throught the lens of homilies preached on feast days.
