I teach music courses at the University of Washington (Seattle and Tacoma). My main research interest is rap music. I’ve written
a textbook based on my experiences teaching the material. I’m currently at work (with Phillip Kloeckner) on a second edition of
Functional Hearing, which should be out late 2020/early 2021.
