Feel so bad for FIL—waiting 2+ years to spend Christmas with your only grandchild, only to have to spend a week of it in isolation. Thankfully we have a long visit here and everyone is so far doing relatively okay. (2022-12-22 ↗)
Dublin Christmas so far not working out quite as planned: FIL got Covid two days after we arrived so he’s isolating and we’re all masking up inside (thankfully testing negative). Toddler simultaneously got a bad cold (seemingly not Covid) which he’s passed on to me. Mucus levels in this household are off the charts. (2022-12-22 ↗)
Transatlantic flights are sometimes my best chance to catch up on movies I’ve been meaning to see, which is a bit sad because I feel like I haven’t really SEEN them when it’s been only on a 6×9” seatback screen. (2022-12-20 ↗)
