LAPC Guide to an Online Transition Presentation

It summarizes the data from the Guide to an Online Transition document and the Video Conferencing Software Comparison spreadsheet. It starts with a summary of COVID-19's symptoms, then discusses executive orders, video conferencing software, scanning documents, in-person considerations including masking, and finally factors to consider if policies change.

LAPC Video Conferencing Software Comparison List
This is a companion document to the Guide to an Online Transition, also prepared by Fatima Albrehi. It lists every possible video conferencing software available to the Legal Advocacy for People with Cancer (LAPC) Clinic and compares them based on various factors, from the intended users, pricing, free trials, max number of users in a call, download required, and positive and negative elements to consider. From this comparison, Fatima determined that Legaler was the best option for the LAPC Clinic.

LAPC Clinic's Guide to an Online Transition
A report prepared by Humanities Clinic intern Fatima Albrehi for the Legal Advocacy for People with Cancer (LAPC) Clinic. At the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, few if any organizations knew how to transition to a mostly remote setting. This report advances through several important considerations in this transition. It starts with applicable executive orders, then discusses Legaler, the video conferencing software for legal operations. Then various methods of scanning documents, factors to consider for in-person meetings, and other video conferencing software alternatives.
