Global Musical Modernisms is a forum for all forms of music received and appropriated as “modern” in any location around the globe, crossing the boundaries of post/tonality and musical genres. The focus is on art, avant-garde, experimental, modernist, and popular music, by global (African, Middle Eastern, Central/ South/ Southeast/ East Asian, Latin American, Australasian etc.) music-makers, minority music-makers from the West, and music-makers from the peripheries of Europe and North America.

Steps:
  1. Click on this link: https://globalmusicalmodernisms.hcommons-staging.org/
  2. On the upper left, click on "New" and select "Post."
  3. Enter "Title" of your post
  4. Enter "Text" of your post
  5. Text should begin with "By [author's name]"
  6. Insert links to recordings, scores, or composers's websites by clicking on the "link" button at the top of Text. This is the button that looks like a link in a metal chain.
  7. Click "Save Draft" in the menu at the top right corner.
  8. Notify the editor by email. The editor will publish your post on your behalf.
  9. Optional: Upload the score of the work under "Files" in the website. Click here: https://hcommons-staging.org/groups/global-musical-modernisms/
  10. Optional. Upload a journal article by you or another scholar, related to the blog post, under "From CORE." Same link as for step 9.
