Abstract:
Children of the early stage now live in the twenty-first century under the shadow of the 'digital age' through what the world is witnessing today in terms of continuous and accelerating digital revolutions, especially after the outbreak of the (COVID-19) pandemic, starting from the current year 2020 in all parts of the world, and the adoption of The educational process is entirely based on the use of the Internet, the nature of the day that children spend has changed, as they spend most of their time on the Internet between education and entertainment, but most of the time this is without supervision on them during these periods and they are exposed to many risks.
Although the child has become a digital citizen, we do not deny that digital technologies have become golden opportunities for him in education and learning, especially in remote areas and with humanitarian crises, but many studies have shown that children are exposed to many risks such as: (Being easily exposed to cyber threats, Hacking, Pornography, Identity Theft, Cyber Bullying, in addition to experiencing depression and anxiety as a result of excessive use; This negatively affects the child's health and happiness. Perhaps the main reason for all these dangers is their lack of awareness of the etiquette that they must follow when dealing with the Internet in what is known as 'digital etiquette'.
The current research seeks to shed light on the importance of 'applications of child literature arts', which has developed in its digital form as a result of structuring literature presented to the child in its digital form such as: Digital Storytelling, E-Book, Drama Games, Visual Arts, Digital Poetry for Children, Digital Poetry) and the reality of its use in teaching 'digital etiquette' to early stage children starting from the age of three to eight years, that early age stage in which 90% of the child's brain development is formed and its concepts are formed And upon which are built the advanced stages of his life, in which he will face a future awaiting him again, jobs that depend entirely on a set of digital skills that must be taught to the child to eradicate digital literacy, starting from early childhood, which was recommended by the 'Incheon Declaration' in the Republic of Korea in the framework of work to achieve the goal The fourth (sustainable development) vision of education by 2030 and confirmed by the reports of 'UNICEF 2017' in the context of talking about (children in a digital world).
The necessity of this research came with the scarcity of studies that study the importance of applications of 'digital child literature art' in general, with a focus on 'Digital Storytelling' applications as one of its art in particular and its value in providing early-stage children with the etiquette and etiquette of dealing on the Internet as a mechanism of preservation. On children's safety and digital literacy, by making them aware of how to deal in the digital environment, away from risks and safely.
