AL883: Course Quality Analysis

Overall my course passed the Quality Analysis review. As I went through the rubric there were areas that were easy to add to and improve their quality. I did this with the class introduction and more clearly stated what they would be getting from the course. The module/unit learning objectives where done well in the in-class assignments that are posted. I don’t have many of the online assignments done, so that was harder to determine. I am going to have to make sure to pay attention to stating clearly the etiquette expectations. As I create the online assignments, I will stay aware of this and make sure they meet the standards. I will have rubrics posted for all assignments and discussion boards and there are both handouts and videos to aid in their instruction. I am going to add a “Things you should know” area that will include all technologies we will be using, my email address and policies, when my office hours are and how I can be reached outside of that time, and all other important information so that it is easy to access. When this course is finished, I believe it will meet all the quality standards listed.
