LLC Shakespeare on Humanities Commons 7 years, 8 months agoThe STC Macbeth’s setting and predominantly multiethnic cast brought to mind Orson Welles’s landmark 1936 Macbeth which was set in Haiti and featured an all-black cast. Apologies, I am the delayed one and thank you for responding! I have a number of file types often used in geo-spatial technologies. For example, boundary files in shapefile formats, including geo-databases. I use various such technologies in my work related to spatial humanities.
Thank you,
James

Rebecca Ruth Gould posted an update in the group
The Commons Room on Humanities Commons 7 years, 10 months agoIt appears that files cannot be edited once they are accepted into the core repository. Is that correct? Can adjustments be made so that files can be edited? Thanks again, Rebecca
-
Hi Rebecca, during a brief ‘provisional’ period, before the item is officially published, depositors can edit their deposit to make any corrections. (There should be a small green “edit” button beside the item’s status.) After that, you can send us an email if anything needs correcting. (More info here: https://hcommons-staging.org/core/faq/.)

Rebecca Ruth Gould posted an update in the group
The Commons Room on Humanities Commons 7 years, 10 months agoHi, it would be great if we could view more than 20 HC groups on one page as it can take a long time to scroll through the full list. I would prefer up to 100/page. Also would be great to sort by groups not a member of vs. a member of and public vs. private. Thanks, Rebecca
-
Thanks for these suggestions! We’re planning on making some changes to the interface in the coming months. In the interim, we should be able to implement a filter for public vs private sooner. There’s a filter already for “My Groups” (of which you’re a member) and “All Groups.” Would you want to see a different option there?
