About
I am an independent scholar based in Utrecht, The Netherlands. I studied Sonology at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and Musicology at Utrecht University (MD). After having published on canonic technique in J.S. Bach’s Musical Offering, I now focus on music and liturgy in the Carthusian Order. My research revolves around the question how this religious order dealt with change, especially as seen in the growth of their liturgical calendar. Publications
