Tessa Nunn is a Phd student in Romance Studies at Duke University. Her research interests include 19th- and 20th-century French literature, film studies, women writers, and dance history. Her dissertation project explores descriptions of dance in works by 19th- and 20th-century women writers. She is currently working on two digital projects: a digital map of 19th-century travel writers’ descriptions of dance and a digital archive of viewing guides for French-language learners wishing to study films directed by women.
