About

I am an Assistant Professor of French at Jacksonville University. A medievalist by training and a generalist by necessity, I teach all levels of language, literature, and culture. My research interests are short narrative genres of the 12th and 13th centuries, in France and in Anglo-Norman England, particularly in relationship to orality and performance. I am president of the International Marie de France Society and assistant editor of its journal, Le Cygne.
