A study of the costs incurred by university presses in publishing scholarly monographs through the TOME (Toward an Open Monograph Ecosystem) pilot project. Researchers received data from 15 publishers on 57 TOME titles published through mid-2021. This report will be incorporated into a full assessment of the TOME pilot.

For future reference–we ended up using “2nd Edition” and using the supply chain metadata to connect the new edition ISBNs to the previous, abridged edition ISBNs, and will also be referencing the previous edition in our marketing copy, keywords, etc.

ONIX and Metadata Issues on UP Commons 4 years, 5 months agoHi Jana, I can confirm that Chicago does store several chapter metadata fields in Firebrand’s Title Management system. We store: chapter title, chapter abstract, chapter keywords, and chapter DOI. We set them up as Comments under Elements.
