Visual Resources Division (VRD) on ARLISNA Commons 2 years, 9 months agoHmmm. Good question. SCHED allows you to choose your own timezone. Selecting Eastern (Daylight) has our meeting starting at 5pm. Kelin’s message states 4pm Eastern (Standard, which is an error). So does it start at 4pm or 5pm EDT?
Thanks,
Mark

Teaching SIG on ARLISNA Commons 2 years, 11 months agoHi Christine,
My library does a lot of these kinds of events. We’ve had puzzle, coloring and lego tables, whiteboard prompts on random topics for the students to write/draw their responses, therapy dogs, zine making etc. As you suggested, we view these as a way to make the library a welcoming community hub – not unlike the public library.
