I am a researcher, educator and artist residing in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2014 I embarked on a PhD at Copenhagen Business School in the Management, Philosophy and Politics department and as Research Associate at Leuphana University’s Digital Cultures Research Lab (DCRL) in Lüneburg, Germany. Re:search- the Personalised Subject vs. the Anonymous User investigates the organising properties and potentials of ‘search’.

Recent contributions to publications include a chapter in the Oxford Handbook on Media, Technology and Organization Studies (forthcoming) on ‘search engines’ and with the same entry, an article in SAGE: Encyclopedia of the Internet that provides an historical overview with speculative futures. Against a Personalisation of the Self in Ephemera, Vol.17 #2 in 2017 and my article Who’s Hacking Whom? in Limn #8 (2017) explore protocological infrastructures and the possibilities of user anonymity online. Upcoming Talks and Conferences
LAEMOS (Latin American and European Organisation Studies). I will present my forthcoming paper, Re:search- p2p surfer, which looks at alternative search using a ‘commons-based’ search engine, at the forthcoming conference in Buenos Aires in March 2018.
