Culture and experiencing the city: the culturalization of the urban experience and its influence in the life and appropriation of urban spaces

This current study sets out to question the idea of a culturalized city, its processes and agents and its influence in the political e economic organization of urban space. However, it is necessary to take note of the way this model of city influences the perceptions of its everyday users. Cultural and artistic practices may have an importante role as mediators of the relationship between individuals and urban space.
