About

Broadly, my research interests range across C 20th/21st Global Anglophone literature; literatures of the Global South; literature’s interface with philosophy, science, medicine, and technology; memory studies; and media and technology studies. Within these, my primary interests lie in literature and cognition; embodied cognition; affect, emotion, empathy; the history and philosophy of science and technology; the philosophy of mind and cognitive science; and aesthetics in the new media ecology. Additional interests include modern Assamese literature, and Marxism and other materialisms.
