After I earned my BA in English at the University of Utah, I taught special education through Teach For America. I yearned to be a student again and refine my skills, which led me to completing an MA at NYU in English & American Literature. I am working in higher education, volunteering at a prison to help bring higher ed to inmates, and pursuing my own interest in literary studies and education.
