Paula Winke is a Professor in the Applied Linguistics Program in the Department of Linguistics, Languages, and Cultures (LiLaC) at Michigan State University (MSU), where she directs the Second Language Studies Ph.D. Program. She also teaches in the TESOL Program, also housed in the Applied Linguistics Program. Paula teaches courses on language assessment, individual differences in second language acquisition, TESOL teaching and research methods, and ESL teaching practices. Paula is currently the Co-Editor of the international journal “Language Testing.” She is the Project Lead on the”Local LCTL Assessments” (LoLA) project at MSU’s National LCTL Resource Center.
