About
I am a curator at the
National Library of Scotland, with particular responsibility for Scottish Communities and Organisations. I am also a co-founder and editor of the
Journal of the Northern Renaissance, a member of the
Radical Open Access Collective.
I previously worked as a Research Fellow at Coventry University with
COPIM (Community-led Open Publication Infrastructures for Monographs), and sat on the Board of Stewards and the Membership Committee of the
Open Book Collective.
Before this I worked as an Assistant Professor of English Literature at Bilkent University in Ankara and at İstanbul Kültür Universitesi (IKU). I’ve also taught at the University of Edinburgh and at Strathclyde University, and freelanced as a translator for organisations including the BBC and the Università degli Studi di Messina.
