ARLIS/NA Academic Library Division via email on ARLISNA Commons 3 years, 3 months agoWe also subscribe and like it. I echo the feelings already expressed in wishing more of the full catalog was available, but we subscribed specifically on the request of faculty who wished to expand the streaming offerings for video art and underrepresented video artists. Everyone seems happy with it.

There is a lot of content that isn’t available elsewhere and I also love the related archival documents and resources that are often included alongside the videos. My only complaint is that the site navigation takes a little getting used to and it’s easy to end up searching the full catalog vs what is ava…[Read more]

ARLIS/NA Academic Library Division on ARLISNA Commons 3 years, 3 months agoHi Cindy, we also subscribe to EAI Educational Streaming at NYU Libraries. The students are always very excited when I demo it during instruction sessions. In my opinion, it is very easy to use. Only streaming access though, no download capabilities, which is understandable. I’ll echo Jill and say the only drawback is that it doesn’t contain all…[Read more]

ARLIS/NA Academic Library Division on ARLISNA Commons 3 years, 3 months agoHi Cindy — We subscribe to EAI Educational Streaming. I have been pretty pleased with the product. It’s easy to use and the cost is pretty affordable especially compared to other resources. One thing to keep in mind is that the Educational Streaming Service does not include EVERY EAI title. There have been several titles we have had to license…[Read more]

ARLIS/NA Academic Library Division on ARLISNA Commons 3 years, 3 months agoHello. I have had a request to subscribe to the EAI Educational Streaming Service. Does anyone else subscribe? IF so, is it easy to use? I have an inquiry about costs into the company, but I would love to hear from other users.
Thanks,
Cindy

ARLIS/NA Stimulating Creativity in Practice (SCIP) SIG on ARLISNA Commons 3 years, 5 months agoOh, these postcards are FANTASTIC. I definitely recognize some of the ephemera from my collection. The 3rd postcard’s oven collage with a screenshot from a the Dynasty cat fight between Krystal and Alexis in the lily pond — CLASSIC.
