Open Access Books Network on Humanities Commons 4 years agoHi John, Hi Lucy,
Many thanks to you both! The archiving approach described by Lucy and Sebastian sounds to be a good way forward (and I’ll drop Ellen a quick email as I’d be keen to hear her perspective too – thanks).

Open Access Books Network on Humanities Commons 4 years agoHi Emma,

– Provide back and forward links between…[Read more] -

Emma Gallon started the topic New editions of OA books in the discussion
Open Access Books Network on Humanities Commons 4 years agoHello and happy new year! I was wondering if anybody has any experience in publishing new editions of open access books, and would be happy for me to get in touch about this? I have a couple of questions about best practice specifically for OA books around taking down the old edition from third-party and our platforms (or not!) and it would be…[Read more]

Stacy Fahrenthold deposited Ladies Aid as Labor History: Working-Class Formation in the Mahjar in the group
History on Humanities Commons 4 years, 1 month agoIn the Arabic-speaking mahjar (diaspora), the plight of the working poor was the focus of women’s philanthropy. This article reconsiders that frame and argues for a class-centered reassessment o…[Read more]
