Nuno Miguel Neves was born in Setúbal. He holds a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology, by the University of Coimbra and has a postgraduate diploma in Art Studies from the same university. He is a member of A Equi – microcolectivomusculopoetico – which, in addition to regular participation in the Coimbra Poetry Slam and other quasi-performances elsewhere, has published a collection of texts by inamates of Coimbra prison titled “Poesia há. Solta!”. He is currently an FCT doctoral fellow in the PhD Program in Materialities Literature at the School of Arts and Humanities at the University of Coimbra. His research interests focus mainly on issues of voice, sound poetry, noise, and avant-garde movements.
