About
I am a Ph.D Candidate in the Islamic Civilizations Studies at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. My research examines the perception of climate change and natural disasters in the Middle East and North Africa. This work is an interdisciplinary effort that examines the intersection between science and Islamic theology, drawing from the fields of critical disaster studies, religion, ecology, and sociology. Prior to joining Emory University, I earned a Masters of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, NY.
