Dr. Nancy Rosenberg England holds a Ph.D. in English from The University of Texas at Arlington. Her dissertation, “Establishing a Dracula Film Genre: Key Texts, Antecedents, and Offspring,” was completed under the direction of Dr. Johanna M. Smith. She earned an M.A. in Humanities from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. Her thesis, “The Early Female Gothic Novel and Charlotte Dacre’s Zofloya,” was completed under the direction of Dr. Karen Volland Waters. Her publications include “Answering Nosferatu’s Knock: Madness in Times of Pandemic” in Nosferatu in the 21st Century: A Critical Study (Liverpool UP/Auteur, 2023) and “Untangling Late Victorian Anxieties: Hair Symbolism in Dracula” in the Journal of Dracula Studies.
