Addition and complement to the recent article by Alfonso Boix «Transmisión, pervivencia y evolución del mito cidiano en el heavy metal». It analyses ten further compositions not explored in the above-mentioned work from the perspective of the growing interest on the topic of «El Cid» in Heavy Metal music, and of its correlation to the rise of the genres of Power Metal and Pagan Metal.
