For a majorly dystopian view of the corporate world written in the 1950s, I recommend Kurt Vonnegut’s Player Piano. Granted, it is set in the U.S., but its view of corporations as embodying their own cultural existence was way ahead of its time. It shows a vision of what happens when mechanization has displaced human labor.
