Cataloging Section on ARLISNA Commons 3 years, 1 month agoHi everyone!
I’m back with more cataloging questions. I have a feeling some of these I should know based on the generous answers people have given to my previous questions, but I’m finding myself still needing some guidance. For a fun change of scene, I’m posting here in the Cataloging Section group instead of ARLIS-L.
I’m working on a record…[Read more]

I don’t know if this exactly fits here but I wanted to know if anyone here ever had a hand in archiving video projects? Currently looking comparing best practices and if any other institutions have done something similar.

ARLIS/NA Materials SIG on ARLISNA Commons 3 years, 1 month agoHi Shannon and Siobhan,
Thanks for starting and continuing this discussion.
I have a six-month sabbatical during the first half of 2024 devoted to the generation of a handbook for materials collections. It’s only very loosely conceived at this point and I’ll have some research leave in 2023 to plot it out further. BUT it would be great to add…[Read more]
