The article deals with the question how scientific libraries and communities of the different Wikimedia portals (esp. Wikipeadia and Wikisource) can cooperate in order to enhance digital methods in regional studies research. It uses the examples of different projects the Saxon State and University Library (SLUB) Dresden undertakes with theses communities.
