Not sure, but you have just been promoted to Admin! Congratulations!
Hmm… the YouTube link above does not open in a new tab, even though it’s set to. Any ideas, @markdavidson?
Also, and it may be my Internet connection, but there seems to be some lag time in posting. Getting from clicking submit to seeing the post requires a lot of waiting.
This seems to be working pretty well. How are you finding the login process? It seems I have to click a few places to find my way to the discussion. There must be a way to make this easy for people.
@rjudd11 Thanks for the reply! No one knew music history could be so complicated. I’ll have to reformulate my question and get back to you.
And it looks like it does work. Also, I don’t think it’s a problem that replies just continue down the page. I realize now that’s probably how a forum should work.
I note that when I reply to a specific post, it doesn’t create a separate thread right after that specific post. Instead, it pust my reply at the bottom of the whole thread.
@markadavidson Just testing the @ feature on this…
Great info — thanks Mark!
As a moderator, I’m able to delete and move posts. (I also made Mark a moderator.) Others, do you see a way to flag or otherwise report posts?
I don’t think the idea (even for Vanilla) was to approve posts or comments ahead of time, but to allow users to play a role in all this. I’ll look into some moderation specifics in a minute.
Seeing how YouTube/link embedding works:
Copying Beethoven
I think it does!
