I am a second year, part time (currently on Maternity leave) PhD candidate at Birkbeck, University of London. I am currently researching “Rules of Informal Spaces at The Court of Louis XV 1726-1764”. Looking at the rules of etiquette and social interaction observed in less-public spaces of the French Court during the reign of Louis XV.
