My library does a lot of these kinds of events. We’ve had puzzle, coloring and lego tables, whiteboard prompts on random topics for the students to write/draw their responses, therapy dogs, zine making etc. As you suggested, we view these as a way to make the library a welcoming community hub – not unlike the public library. I tried to find them, pretending I had just heard that the CAC had posted a couple chapters of the revised CEP. I went to the CORE Repository link on the left margin, I picked ARLIS/NA Deposits. I visited CDMX for the first time this August, for a short trip with the ARLIS/NA board and CPAC. We stayed at the conference hotel, and I’m happy to answer any questions I can on that front!

Cataloging Section on ARLISNA Commons 3 years agoA second or subsequent catalog by an artist should get A4 and date plus a work letter. I usually avoid using “a” which is generally reserved in LCC for reprints of resources. LCC table N6 gives you this basic instruction. The addition of the work letter is based on standard LC practice about dates in call numbers.
