Advances in Digital Humanities have led to new perspectives, tools and possibilities for the study of literary texts. In this sense, an application to the complex problem of Herrera’s poetic texts is presented. This study uses keywords -a widely used corpus technique- to extract the most characteristic words of Versos against the rest of Herrera’s poetry. Through the philological analysis of obtained results, it is possible to deduce the poetic and expressive nuances these words bring, and thus, add interesting and new stylistic information to previous studies.
