Lesley Larkin is a Professor of English at Northern Michigan University, where she teaches courses in twentieth-century and contemporary American literature. She is the author of Race and the Literary Encounter (Indiana UP, 2015) and is currently working on a book about contemporary U.S. and Canadian fiction and genomics.
