Kristof Szitar is a PhD candidate in the Department of South Asian Languages and Civilizations at the University of Lausanne, and preceptor of Urdu at the University of Heidelberg (Intensive Advanced Summer Program). He specializes in medieval Central and South Asian literary history (Persian, Urdu, Turkic) and has a strong interest in the history and cultures of the Caucasus.
