About

Hi! My name is Kayla Hippensteel, and I am a current second-year undergraduate here at Michigan State University. I am from a small town outside Fort Wayne, Indiana, but I have family from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, so I call there my second home.

I am majoring in Environmental Studies and Sustainability with a minor in Leadership in Integrated Learning through the Bailey Scholars Program and a minor in Science, Technology, and the Environment in Public Policy (STEPP). On campus, I’m involved in the Environmental Studies and Sustainability United (ESSU) club as a Digital Content Assistant as well as the Bailey Scholars Program. I’ve also done various volunteer work through both organizations and am passionate about the work both do.

In my free time, you can find me at any sporting event on campus, traveling, reading, going on day trips, drinking coffee, or just hanging out with friends!
