Today SAH’s Director of Communications, Helena Dean, and I are introducing SAH Commons to the admins of six SAH Affiliate Groups. We’re very excited to provide a professional, non-commercial intellectual home for them. Stay tuned as they learn more about SAH Commons and begin to fully implement their groups and sites. I am working with a creative team at the Society of Architectural Historians to transform SAH’s in-person annual conference–set for late April in Seattle–into a virtual conference. We’re all learning a lot about Zoom and other platforms. We’re also that working from home, due to COVID-19, isn’t as easy as it looks.
