Cognitive Approaches to Literature on MLA Commons 11 years agoDear Lisa. I am so disappointed they scheduled my paper on “Cognitive Approaches to Race, Gender and Religion in Spanish Early Modern Captivity Plays” (# 686) in conflict with your panel. I am familiar with your work and was looking forward to meeting you and hearing your paper. Unfortunately, I have to leave right away after giving the paper but…[Read more]

However, they are somewhat dated. Most of the works listed are from the late 1990s with only a few works from the early 2000s. As far as I can tell, there are no works after 2004-5. I was hoping to find something a bit more up to date. Thank you…[Read more]

Cognitive Approaches to Literature on MLA Commons 11 years, 6 months agoCan anyone recommend any good, comprehensive bibliographies on cognitive approaches to literature? I am in particular looking for studies that use cognitive linguistics in their analysis of poetry, but any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Matthew Miller
