Ignacio Cabria has shown quite convincingly that in the late 1950s “flying saucers” were a phenomenon firmly established in the collective imagination in the Spanish state. In 1951 the magazine “Diez Minutos” made its appearance. During the last year I have had the opportunity to review a good number of the copies of its first decade. This task has allowed me to obtain several references on flying saucers, whose list of references is attached. The remarkable frequency with which the subject of flying saucers appears and the way in which it does so effectively confirm Cabria’s thesis.
