An Associate Professor of Archaeology at the University of Evansville in Indiana, I am a Syro-Palestinian archaeologist who works in Israel and Jordan. I specialize in ancient food and drink technology, including the analysis of ground stone artifacts from the Bronze and Iron Age Levant. Along with Norma Franklin (University of Haifa), I direct the Jezreel-Expedition in Israel.
