I found the session most interesting and prescient. I am presently working on an article tracing the history of standards, particularly secondary ELA standards, culminating with CCSS. Holquist made a signicnant remark in stating colleges and univeristy far.ty do have a vested interest and should take an active, collaborative role with teachers.
