We are under-enrolled in all of the proposed Asian fora (except for Korean — nice work folks!), which means that they will not be established. As many of you will have heard, Resolution 2014-1 got 60% of the votes cast but did not reach the minimum of 10% of the total membership required (by a recent rule) in order to be officially adopted. Thank you to all who voted. I attach an op-ed by David Lloyd that to my mind gives a good sense of the meaning of the event:

I’m among the 1500, but what worries me more than the opposition is the apathy of those who did not care to cast any vote. Not that we are much different here in Poland… Thank you for your post.
