Dear geek/libre comrades, I have a queer-stion for you: Do we know if the first communities -in the 80’s and 90’s- around the development of critical computing (?) and its evolution towards free software were related to the homosexual liberation movement and the fight against AIDS? Thanks (2024-10-28 ↗)
Nice socialist/feminist queer graphics: an illustration from the Gay Left Journal [produced by Gay People, UK, Summer 1977] and a wearable fanzine with a cover made with the Third World Gay Revolution font (digitally recreated from the homonym manifesto) (2024-10-08 ↗)
Dear @savetz, I'm digging the Ted Nelson's archive searching for images around flatbed scanners -the object-. I found only a couple of images and in general -maybe I'm doing wrong- its easier find examples than hardware. In general, looking for help and advice to find interesting manuals or texts about the early years of home scanners. 🤓 (2024-10-08 ↗)
