Humanities Commons Summer Camp on Humanities Commons 7 years, 7 months agoAbout photos, our department brought somebody in to take head shots of faculty and grad students when we updated our web site last year. This was optional, and I was surprised that more people didn’t do it … well, not really surprised about faculty, but the grad students? Come on! They were practically born on the internet but still have a hard…[Read more]

Humanities Commons Summer Camp on Humanities Commons 7 years, 7 months agoHi all,
Glad I made it just in time to finish the first challenge! I made some changes to my profile. I could use a new profile pic. but since I’ve been staring at a computer screen all day for the class I’m teaching online, this probably isn’t my best photo moment.
It’s been fun seeing all of your profiles. Mine is here!Happy Weekend!

Humanities Commons Summer Camp on Humanities Commons 7 years, 8 months agoHi All,
Here’s my profile. Like many of us, I’ll probably add a few things between now and the deadline, especially the “about me” section.
And I’ll have to find a better head shot for the profile image than the one have right now.

Humanities Commons Summer Camp on Humanities Commons 7 years, 8 months agoI’ve tweaked my “About” section a little bit to give it more of a human face (or at least tone), and added some upcoming events. I also added an interest and changed by cover image to something more identifiably “archival”. I may not have time to do more for this particular challenge by 9 June, but look forward to the next one!

My profile picture was the clearest photo I could find that had been taken in the last 10 years. 😀
