Jewish Music on Humanities Commons 4 years, 2 months agoI think Alex hits the nail on the head with his 3 answers, and I agree that it is in this particular order where we see the death of khazzones. I would also add that changes in musical taste is killing the art-form. One place where it seems to survive is with the Charedim – but even their performances are subject to musical tastes of the moment.
