You can absolutely edit the document yourself—the middle “edit” tab (between “Read” and “History” tabs) on the Bibliography Doc will allow you to type into the document. The submission deadline is October 1. As stated in the call, “IASPM-US is a multidisciplinary organization, and invites proposals from and across all fields of scholarly inquiry.”

It would certainly be worthwhile to explicitly discuss what our purpose is at the next meeting, and update both our mission statement and purpose statement, and I’ll add that to the agenda along with these suggestions.
