2018 MLA Convention on MLA Commons 8 years agoIf you want to get away from the conference and eat the best/cheapest South Indian food, go to Temple Canteen. Take the 7 train to Jackson Heights/Roosevelt Ave, Woodside, or Citifield & catch a cab/Lyft from there. The ride won’t cost much & you’ll save $ on the food. Seriously cheap & you can get a feast. Open daily 8:30 to 9:30.
