Hi all, I’m Emma Monroy. I’m a Ph.D. candidate in French and Francophone studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My current research is in text and image studies in the Francophone Caribbean, but I’d like to also be more involved in digital humanities. To that end, I’m currently collaborating on an interactive online database for a long-standing journal in Haiti (http://rshhgglab.com/) and trying to strengthen and organize my own digital presence.
