I direct The American Soldier in World War II (https://www.zooniverse.org/projects/tkotwim/the-american-soldier), an interdisciplinary, NEH-funded digital initiative at Virginia Tech. My scholarly interests and publications focus on the history of the social sciences, modern war and society, interdisciplinarity, popular religious movements, and twentieth-century American culture. I regularly teach courses with a digital literacy emphasis on the themes of World War II and Postwar.
